okay, please answer honestly.
if your boyfreind in the past has talked to a girl behind your back, then almost broke up because of it, then was loyal for a year and a half but still texts girls, is it okay for me to want to check his phone every once in a while for peace of mind?
i know he texts these two girls sometimes and its like, if he has nothing to hide then why would he do that? why do boys do taht?
Yes, you can check his phone every once in a while, but not because he “owes” you anything for his past mistake.

Bringing up mistakes in the past as a great equalizer is just unfair to him and unfair to your relationship.
