What I can do to be a freelance writer … as short stories or poetry?
I love writing. I want to start writing short stories and such, but I do not know where or how to present my work.
When you get a new or A Poem published, it is very gratifying ego. You feel like a true artist. The downside of freelancing is that you have to compete with everyone else with the same dream. Anyway, to start going to the reference desk your local library and ask to see the Annual Book of Writers Market. Or you can buy. Inside the book are the addresses of literary magazines and the kind of literature they want. For survive as a freelancer, you have to write for publication, you must give them what they want.
