Poetry About America

Poets are the bell ringers of the Soul
<
Poets are the bell ringers of the Soul
Poets as a rule are high on adventure
Like the bards or prophets today are asking.
Embracing hearts and minds of wisdom
Casting through verse their visions at play.
Poets their dreams and nightmares
About love, life, death, faith and war.
They feel the pain and tragedy of the Other
Even those who have never seen before.
To fan the flames of human compassion
With their stories of human error.
Pretending to follow a higher power
As you can recruit.
Poets are the bell ringers of the soul
Because they represent the past, and beyond.
They sound alarms what is coming
As the setbacks of a living man.
EDGAR ALLAN POE
One of the most famous writers of America
Born Boston, January 1809.
His parents were actors
And his father was drunk most of the time.
In 1810 the father Edgar's gone
His mother died shortly after.
A childless couple, took in
The raised with love and laughter.
Edgar was a Black nurse
That led to his barracks.
There he listened to the stories ghost
Far beyond the land border.
The strange tales he later wrote
It can come from inspiration.
The words she uses to describe death
Poe gave his taste for sensation.
The Allan moved to England
Where Poe attended boarding school.
No doubt his time spent there
He perfected his skills as tools.
Returning to Richman and back to school
He began to compose new verses.
Huge debts forced him to leave school
That his life takes a turn for the worse.
Poe caught a ride on a barge of coal to Boston
If you could not find a job.
A young printer agreed to publish their poems
Give hope and pleasure.
Penniless, Poe enlisted in the army
And it has been accepted West Point, 29.
Poe could not stand to be a writer
Self-imposing his dismissal from the line.
Subsequently, he became editor and critic
And she married her cousin, who was thirteen.
Six years found he was dying
Once again the suffering of the unexpected.
He crossed periods of madness
Caused by grief and drop function.
He smoked opium and drank too much
Until his death in the country would appeal.
Edgar Allan Poe the master of poetry
Motionless in our hearts today lives
Famous for The Raven and other great works
May his soul rest in peace, Prions.
POETS OF GOD
The jewels of price of any nation
They are the philosophers of the heart.
How do you think is universal
It is God that makes them so smart.
Most poets tell the truth about life
Although you can wrap in beauty.
His passion is his goal
To compose is but their duty.
Poets have no reason to lie
When the truth is always so clear.
What others say and do
But food is a poet's ear.
One the merits of the work of a poet
What most people would not be denied.
They say more and less of words
To enlighten you and me
God sent his poets to land
With words of wisdom and courage.
You could touch the souls of men
And back to him.
A good poem
A good poem paints a picture
So much for his heart and brain.
It has not need a second chance
To find its meaning.
A good poem is like a flower
The lily or rose.
God planted in the brain of a poet
And there's beauty grows.
A good poem like a cardinal
She is pregnant with song
You can not stop listening to your message
As he sings what's right or wrong.
A good poem helps us remember
What joys of life are
It makes us want to love somebody
Till death comes knocking at our door.
POETRY
God has always had his poets
Anyone who looks with love from outer space.
But Satan poets too
Trying to drag us from our grace.
King Solomon was a poet
Who spoke of love, life, death and war.
That lips were like the son of scarlet
And that breasts were roses and more.
Wild birds sing and flowers bloom
As the numbers shape of the clouds in the sky.
But the beings Humans only write poems
Who is going to last long after his death.
The older sister of all arts
Some have called the devils wine.
Poetry is but pure passion
To stimulate the heart and mind.
POET'S WIFE
My narrator seems to delight its
Although for me it was love at first sight.
When she knew I was a poet
He asked me do you write?
Love poems, especially, I said
While walking alone in the park
Fever of love became even hotter
As two shadows kiss in the dark
Always remember the first time we met
I said A Poem in his ear.
Since then, the way I was happy
And other women who do not have to be close.
They say that poets are divine
Although my wife would say no, this is true!
For every time I lose my address
She tells me what to do.
When the ends of the city and the suburbs start
We built our home in heaven.
Let's educate our children with truth and love
Until one or two of us die.
A verse a day, I always say
It keeps the lawyers my door
Because when I get paid for what I write
My wife loves me more.
Poets all to serve a master
Most poets have a bit of Solomon
Poe Shakespeare and the interior.
Always willing to share their visions
About love, life, joy and sin.
Some guzzle whiskey
Some sip wine
Some prefer Cola
And I feel great.
Some smoke pot
Sucking or cigarettes
Some drugs of abuse
With the life of repentance.
Some go to church
And sing of God
While others laugh
They call odd.
Everyone has a purpose
Who is composing.
All serve a gentleman
That, by free will, they have chosen.
DIVINE INTERVENTION
Do I ever write a poem
Who does not write itself.
I catch a buzz and come alive
Like a puppet on your shelf.
Hearing voices of many
Whose words are not mine.
My pen becomes a painter's brush
Forming visions on a line.
I think a better person
When it's time to sit and write.
A higher power guides my hand
Sharing wisdom by day and night.
People born to create
They have no choice but to run.
It is the desire to share his gift
That raises the standard.
What would our world
Without the intervention of the High?
Angry beings in a revolving cage
Without any sense of passion or love.
THE POWER OF POETRY
Poetry is the lighthouse of life
Guiding the loss of a stormy sea.
Without it's presence darkness prevails
Maintenance of all we can be.
The poems are used to convey the passion
For poets mood right and wrong.
Some are other hate love
Share ideas for consumption as food.
Verse can lead us to glory or Doom
By participating with others inside.
As a reflection of our past, present and future
In the words of grace man or sin.
People write poetry because they have no choice
In response to the call of your gift.
Where some tend to take their readers for
Another to give them a lift.
Always remember the power of poetry
It is used by heaven and hell.
It is a pleasure for us to choose
As poetry remains alive and well.
Sounds of the Heart
Poetry consumed is where wisdom begins
When listening to the murmur of the heart.
It's easy to blame others for our dismay
When ignorance that refuse to separate.
The verse is a ray of hope in the darkness
To help you navigate the pitfalls of life.
Much more likely to write than read
Therefore there are endless conflict and struggle.
I write poems that feeds the light
By sharing what God has given me.
With stories of love, life, war and more
Where heroes pray on their knees.
MASTERS OF VERSE
Poetry is one of the oldest arts of man
Practiced long before words in print.
Each race has its masters poetry
In caves, huts, cabins or tents.
Stories in verse were handed
From one generation to another.
The first words of love, war and more
How to survive the other.
As man became more civilized
I could not stop thinking inside.
Verse then took on more significance deep
With stories of faith, superstition and sin.
The act of reciting the application
In verse began to advance
Every tribe, city, town and village
Having someone who gave words romance.
Today poets these days are on the World Wide Web
Though many seem spiritually ill.
Thank God for those who still have a gift of God
To compose teach, comfort and complete.
MY FAVORITE POET
My favorite poet is God above
Who gives Earth its rhythm and rhyme.
N Pied Pipers of Lost Souls
That foster mistrust, hatred and crime.
Poetry is nature serenading in song
The roar of the ocean waves alone.
The wind in the trees and hills
And the flowers in the fields near the graves.
The sound of rain, as the waters of thirst
The songs of children playing in the park.
The distant sound of trains or thunder
As they spend the night in the dark.
The joy of our children's first words and steps
The passion of life with its heroes and clowns.
The process continued the fight for the survival of our sins
As they proliferate in villages and towns.
My favorite poet is our Father of love
Who was the first to know before birth.
His poetry prolongs everything we love
Since its release gives life its value.
THE POWER OF WORDS
Words are the most effective tools used by man
May the hearts and souls to get to another.
Sharing feelings of fear, wisdom and joy
Or our love for each other significantly.
Where would we be without words
To inspire, unite and motivate.
Songs, poems, stories, blogs, books
Wars, religion, love, lust and hatred.
Jesus preached to the crowd words
And feed the hunger inside.
The stories we tell our minds portray
Examples of weakness, triumph or sin.
If we can not control the anger of our thoughts
It's easy to say that it is difficult to forgive.
Words are the visions that portray our intention
The best communication, we live better.
