Memorial Poem
Do you know A Poem or saying that I can put on a memorial for my friend?
My friend committed suicide about 1 year and a half ago. I want something with meaning but nothing not over the top. I’m having it lasered into marble and setting it at his gravesite. Thank you for the help.
I’m sorry to hear about you friend. Here’s a nice one I’ve read:
If tears could build a stairway,
And memories a lane,
I’d walk right up to heaven
And bring you home again.
Here’s another one:
They say memories are golden. Well, maybe that’s true.
I never wanted memories. I only wanted you.
A million times I needed you, A million times I cried.
If love alone could have saved you,

Our heart still aches in sadness and secret tears still flow.
What it meant to lose you no one will ever know.
Some people only dream of angels…..but we held one in our arms.
We love and miss you very much and can’t wait till we can see you again
I know the second one is long so you can just choose a few lines from it if you want.
