Relationship Advice! I Love Her!?
i asked out my best friend. she said yes. at first it seemed quite distant but then we sat down to watch a film. i asked if she wanted a cuddle and she was like i ont mind. so i said , go on then and put my arm round her she then leaned her head against my chest (right by my heart) and that was that.
when i left i hugged her, but was too scared to kiss. just before i got home i got a text sayin we should just be mates. i was hearbroken. i asked why she said it was because it was weird going from my best friend to my boyfriend. she said she thought i was a sweet boy, but still ended it.
this happened all in one day.
i was heartbroken i havent eaten and havent slept
please help. somebody…. i love her and i want her back :’(
Added On – Today she called me and w spoke for at least an hour, just chatting and having a laugh and stuff.
Thanks
As the other poster said, you may love her but she doesn’t feel the same way. As she told you, the awkward transition from best friend to boyfriend was too much to take and she couldn’t get past that. Since you are her best friend, you should try to get over it and move on. She clearly still thinks of you as a best friend and wants that relationship not to change, or why else would she still call you and talk to you and enjoy her time with you?
Try to move on because she’s made it clear she’s not interested in anything more than friendship.
